Ne-Yo is planning to recruit Janet Jackson to record music he wrote for her late brother Michael Jackson, insisting it would be "disrespectful" to hand the songs over to an artist outside the musical family.

The King of Pop approached Ne-Yo to write him an album's worth of material shortly before he passed away last summer.Jackson never had the opportunity to record the tracks but Ne-Yo still wants them to be heard by fans and is hoping to give them to the superstar's siblings to sing.

Ne-Yo tells Britain's Daily Star, "I've been trying to figure out what to do with those songs.I can't give them to anybody else because they were written for Michael. That would be disrespectful." So if I could get Janet and the brothers to do a collaborative tribute, that would be a great idea.

There are about 10 he personally selected. He told me, 'I like this one, this one, this one.' I can't just put them out by myself because again they were meant for him but they're really good songs, it's good quality music."

Ne-Yo prévoit de recruter Janet pour enregistrer la musique qu'il écrit pour son frère décédé, affirmant qu'il serait irrespectueux que ce ne soit pas un membre de la famille Jackson qui chante cette chanson.

Peu de temps avant sa mort Michael à demandé à Ne-Yo de lui composer une chanson pour son futur album. Michael n'a jamais eu la possibilité d'enregistrer sa voix sur la piste, mais Ne-Yo veut toujours se faire entendre par les fans et espère en faire don à Janet.

Ne-Yo raconte au journal britannique Daily Star: "J'ai essayé de comprendre quoi faire avec cette chanson.Je ne peux pas la donner à quelqu'un d'autre parce qu'elles ont été écrites pour Michael. Ce serait lui manquer de respect. Donc, si je pouvais obtenir Janet et ses frères en collaboration pour lui faire cet hommage, ce serait une excellente idée.

Il ya environ 10 ans, il l'a personnellement choisi. Il m'a dit, "J'aime cette chanson, celle-ci, pas un autre." Je ne peux pas la chanter moi-même car là encore elle était destinée à lui, mais c'est une bonne chanson vraiment, c'est de la musique de bonne qualité.

Janet Jackson Has Another gig wrapped up. The singer Will Join the Ranks of Diana Ross, Sophia Loren, Lauren Bacall, Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli and, more Recently, Elle Macpherson and Elizabeth Hurley, as the newest face in the advertising campaign Blackglama "What Becomes a Legend Most?"

Jackson was photographed by Rocco Laspata of Laspata DeCaro, at the Milk Studios in New York. The campaign, which begins in September, will span print, online and outdoor outlets. The ads will appear in Vanity Fair, W, Vogue, T Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, as well as WWD and Style.com, in addition to the international editions of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Blackglama will also mount a Times Square billboard at Broadway and 45th Street in September. The company has increased its marketing spend 40 percent from a year ago, but wouldn’t disclose dollar figures. Blackglama has also expanded its product line, introducing leather bags, eyewear, fragrance and fur accessories, in an effort to make it a less seasonal, more year-round brand.

A behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of the campaign will appear on the Blackglama and Jackson Web sites. Jackson flew to New York for the shoot after performing on the finale of "American Idol," where her performance shot up to number one on iTunes (which she pointed out via Twitter after the fashion shoot).

So did she get to keep the mink?

"Yes, Janet did get to keep the coat," confirmed a Blackglama spokesman, a perk for the legends of the past, who all got to keep the coats they were photographed in.

Janet Jackson’s public and private lives have been inextricably intertwined for her entire existence. Along the way, she managed to step out of the massive shadow cast by her older brothers and build a remarkable career of her own.

Janet Jackson headlines the opening night of the 2010 Essence Music Festival in the Superdome on Friday, July 2.Her most recent CD of new material, 2008’s “Discipline,” was a commercial disappointment; she is currently without a record deal. Yet her iconic status is undiminished, her schedule as jam-packed as ever.

She made a surprise appearance on this year’s “American Idol” finale. She recorded a new single, “Nothing,” for New Orleans-born producer/director Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?,” in which she co-stars.She’s currently shooting “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf,” Perry’s screen adaptation of the 1975 play of the same name. And she has a self-help book, “True You,” coming out this fall.

A year and a week after her brother Michael’s death shocked the world, Jackson will stage her first full concert since 2008. On Friday, July 2 in the Superdome, she closes the opening night of the 2010 Essence Music Festival. Look for a high-energy, highly choreographed show, complete with special-effects illusions.

Jackson arrived in New Orleans on Tuesday; we spoke over the phone that evening. Between bites of melon (“can you hear me chewing?”), she was soft-spoken, pleasant and occasionally playful. A publicist monitored the call to insure no forbidden subject — her family in general and Michael in particular — was broached.

Any bad memories from her 2004 Super Bowl halftime show “wardrobe malfunction” with Justin Timberlake did not prevent her from watching the Saints beat the Colts this year. “You guys deserved it,” she said of the Saints’ victory. “Very well done.”

To prepare for tonight’s show, Jackson has trained throughout the “Colored Girls” shoot. “We’ve been really sweating,” she said, “for about five weeks.”

TP: So what is your regimen to get back in performing shape?

JJ: Running. Run, run, run. You run every day. Even on days when you’re dancing, you run. Unless your schedule just does not permit it and your workload is too heavy and you have stuff to do for the tour that needs to get done and takes priority.

Has running always been your preferred form of exercise?

My preferred form of exercise is no exercise. (laughs). You know what I love? I love sports. That’s my thing. I love to play games. So if it’s tag football or going to the batting cages or getting a game of softball going…that’s what I prefer. But you can’t always do that with your schedule, so you’ve got to go to the gym.

And I have such a wonderful trainer, Tony Martinez, that he makes it fun for everybody. All the dancers and myself get together and we’ll train while we’re in rehearsals. I’ll run before we start dancing, then we’ll lift while we’re dancing, and he gives them stuff to get their heart rate up.

You sound like you need a specific goal, like a show, to get serious about exercising again.

Not really. It’s really on me. Whether I really want to or not is where it begins and ends.

So why are you performing at Essence?

They’ve been asking me for a very long time. My schedule never permitted it. It actually didn’t permit it this time. But I wanted to do it and figured out a way to do it. And I thought it would be fun.

I’m shooting a film and on my days off from filming, I’m at rehearsals. It’s been 7 days a week for over a month for me. I haven’t had any days off since May. It’s been a lot of hard work, a lot of long hours, sometimes from 12 in the afternoon until 1 or 1:30 in the morning. We’re getting it done, though.

You auditioned dancers way back in April.

I had to, because once I started filming, I did not want to have to deal with anything relating to the show, only on my days off. (So) there were certain things I needed to get out of the way.

We auditioned dancers in New York, because we started filming for “Colored Girls” in New York. Then filming (moved to) Atlanta, so I had to take everybody, the band and all the dancers, and fly them to Atlanta, and we set up shop there for rehearsals.

Tyler Perry has attended Essence many times.

He says he’s going to be there front row center (for Jackson’s show). I said, “Tyler, front row center?” He said, “OK, four rows back, center.”

He accommodated your schedule so you could perform.

Which I’m very appreciative of. And what makes (Essence) special for me, too, is the fact that it’s in New Orleans, with all the devastation in recent years. With the oil spill and Katrina, it’s nice to try to bring some joy and a little bit of positive light and energy to the city.

You haven’t been here since the storm?

No I haven’t.

Will your Essence show be similar to what you did on your Rock Witchu tour in 2008?

It is going to be similar. The Rock Witchu (show) was two hours and 15 minutes. They wanted me to do 45 minutes or an hour (at Essence). I actually asked if I could do an hour and a half. And they said sure. I guess they thought maybe I wasn’t up to it, or didn’t want to. But we were happy to.

It’s pretty much the same set. I’m also doing the new single, “Nothing.”

Will you pull a guy from the audience at any point?

Are you kidding me? I’m gonna pull you! But I don’t know what you look like.

I’ll be right next to Tyler Perry.

(laughs) On his left or on his right? I definitely will pull someone from the audience. That’s my favorite part. It’s fun for me.

Will you do any sort of tribute to your brother Michael in the show?

I’m assuming you mean by doing a set of his songs or… No. It’s still hard for me.

So overall, the show will have a similar pacing and energy to the Rock Witchu tour?

Very up, up, up.

When you revisit your catalog, what material still feels as powerful now as when you recorded it?

All of it, actually. I’ve been very fortunate that people have told me that it’s timeless. It’s so many things. It’s all still very powerful for me.

I guess it’s different when you write it, when it’s something from you, from your heart, from your soul. So all of it, especially the stuff I wrote.

I didn’t write anything on the “Discipline” album, so that’s what I’m getting at. I’m not excluding that body of work at all, but just bringing more focus to the things I’ve (written). I’ve written them, so it’s closer to my heart.

Your musical arrangements don’t sound dated, even going back 20 years.

And it rings true when you see other artists sampling your music. There’s something to be said for that.

Have you started writing for your next project?

I’m not recording an album. All the majors (record labels) have called and they want to talk. I haven’t decided if I want to take that route and be with a label, or if I want to do something independent.For that reason, I want to take some time and really think about it. That’s why I’m not making an album at the moment. If it’s a single here or a single there, like I did for “Why Did I Get Married Too?” with “Nothing”… I’m enjoying that, and being able to have my acting career, for right now.

What is the message of your forthcoming book, “True You”?

It’s about self-esteem. It’s about weight loss, weight gain. It’s about nutrition. It won’t just appeal to adults, but also kids as well as teens.I start it in my childhood. It’s not an autobiography but there are anecdotes from throughout my entire life, from when I was a kid until now, to help people understand why things happened the way they did for me with my weight loss, my weight gain, what brought about certain self-esteem issues I had.I wanted there to be something for kids to read and understand. If they had similar experiences, something they could relate to.

It’s not an autobiography, but will still be deeply personal.

It is. It definitely is.

TP: Alors, quel est votre régime pour obtenir cette en forme lors du spectacle?

JJ: Courir, vous courrez, vous courrez, vous courrez, ... Vous courrez tous les jours. Même les jours où vous dansez, vous courrez. Sauf si votre emploi du temps ne vous le permet pas ou que votre charge de travail est trop lourde.

Quel a toujours été votre exercice préféré?

Ma forme préférée de l'exercice n'est pas un exercice. (Rires).
Vous savez ce que j'aime? J'aime les sports. C'est mon truc. J'aime jouer à des jeux. Donc, sois c'est le football, du handball ou les jeux vidéos ... c'est ce que je préfère. Mais vous ne pouvez pas toujours faire cela avec votre emploi du temps, alors vous devez aller à la gym. Et j'ai un merveilleux entraîneur, Tony Martinez, qu'il sait rendre le sport amusant pour tout le monde. Tous les danseurs et moi-même se réunissons et de nous en faisons pendant que nous sommes en répétitions. Je vais courir avant de commencer à danser.

On dirait que vous avez besoin d'un but spécifique, comme un spectacle, redevenir sérieux à refaire de l'exercice.

Pas vraiment. C'est vraiment un travail sur moi-même. Savoir ce que je veux vraiment ou non et où est je commence et termine.

Alors, pourquoi êtes-vous de la scène à l'essence?

Ils me demandaient beaucoup de temps, du temps que mon emploi du temps ne pouvait pas accepter. Mais je voulais le faire et trouvé un moyen de le faire. Et j'ai pensé que ce serait amusant. Je suis sur le tournage d'un film et lors de mes jours de congé, je suis en répétitions. Je bosse donc 7 jours par semaine depuis plus d'un mois. Je n'ai pas eu de jours de congé depuis mai. Il y a beaucoup de travail acharné, beaucoup de longues heures, parfois de midi jusqu'à 1h ou 1h30 du matin. Mais nous le faisons.

Vous avez auditionné les danseurs en avril.

Oui, car une fois que j'ai commencé mon travail sur le tournage de "For Colored Girls...", je ne voulais pas avoir à faire face à tout ce qui concerne le spectacle, uniquement sur mes jours de congé. Il y avait certaines choses dont j'avais besoin pour sortir de mon quotidien.

Nous avons auditionné les danseurs à New York, car nous avons commencé le tournage du film à New York. Puis le tournage à été transféré à Atlanta, alors j'ai dû prendre tout le monde, le groupe et tous les danseurs, et les emenner à Atlanta, et nous avons mis en place des magasins pour les répétitions.

Tyler Perry a assisté à la préparation de votre show pour Essence à plusieurs reprises.

Il dit qu'il va être là, au centre de première ligne. Je lui ai dit, "Tyler, au centre de la première ligne?" Il a dit: "OK, quatre rangées arrière, au centre."

Il à arranger votre emploi du temps afin que vous puissiez faire le show.

Oui et je lui en suis très reconnaissante. Et ce qui rend ce show très spécial pour moi aussi, est le fait que c'est à la Nouvelle Orléans, avec tous les dégâts au cours des dernières années. Avec le déversement de pétrole et de Katrina, il est bon d'essayer de mettre un peu de joie et un peu de lumière et d'énergie positive dans cette ville.

Vous n'avez pas été là depuis la tempête?

Non, pas depuis.

Est-ce que votre spectacle Essence va être semblable à ce que vous avez fait sur votre "Rock Witchu Tour" en 2008?

Mais nous étions heureux de cette nouvelle.

Voulez-vous faire une sorte d'hommage à votre frère Michael dans ce show?

Non, c'est encore dur pour moi.

Donc dans l'ensemble, le spectacle aura un rythme similaire et lénergie du Rock Witchu Tour?

Oui très, très, très.

Lorsque vous revenez sur votre répertoire, quel titre est toujours aussi puissant aujourd'hui que lors de son enregistrement?

Tous, en fait. J'ai eu beaucoup de chance puisque les gens m'ont dit que c'est intemporel. Il ya tellement de choses. Il s'agit toujours de titres très puissant pour moi. Je suppose que c'est différent quand vous l'écrivez, quand c'est quelque chose qui émane de vous, de votre cœur, de votre âme. Donc tout les titres, surtout ceux que j'ai écrit. Je n'ai rien écrit sur l'album "Discipline", c'est là où je veux en venir. Je ne suis pas contre du tout cette façon de travailler, mais le simple fait d'écrire ses propres chansons, les rends plus proches de votre coeur.

Votre titres n'ont pas pris une ride, même en plus de 20 ans.

Et ils sonnent vrai quand vous voyez certains morceaux d'autres artistes. Il ya quelque chose à conclure de cela.

Avez-vous commencé à écrire pour votre prochain album?

Je ne suis pas en train d'enregistrer un nouvel album. Toutes les majors (maisons de disques) ont appelé et ils veulent en parler. Je ne me suis pas encore décidé si je veux prendre cette route et d'être avec une étiquette, ou si je veux faire quelque chose d'indépendant. Pour cette raison, je veux prendre un certain temps et vraiment y réfléchir. C'est pourquoi je ne fais pas d'album pour le moment. Ou seulement un titre par ici et par là, comme j'ai fait pour "Why Did I Get Married Too" avec "Nothing" ... Je profite du moment, et de cette capacité de pouvoir développer ma carrière d'actrice.

Quel est le message de votre prochain livre, "True You"?

Il s'agit de l'estime de soi. Il s'agit de la perte et gain de poids. C'est sur la nutrition. Il ne sera pas seulement appel à des adultes, mais aussi les enfants ainsi que les adolescents. Je l'ai commencer dans mon enfance. Ce n'est pas une autobiographie, mais il ya des anecdotes de toute ma vie, à partir de quand j'étais un enfant, jusqu'à présent, pour aider les gens à comprendre pourquoi les choses se passaient de cette manière pour moi lors de ma perte de poids, mon gain de poids, ce qui a provoqué certaines questions chez moi sur moi-même. Je voulais qu'il y ait quelque chose pour les enfants à lire et à comprendre. S'ils avaient des expériences similaires, quelque chose qu'ils pourraient concerner.

Ce n'est pas une autobiographie, mais ce sera toujours profondément personnel.

Ca l'est, sans aucun doute.

How to watch the Essence show? Many of you have asked me.

Unfortunately there will be no streaming link but the concert will be filmed by Channel One for a U.S. TV broadcast later. The concert will be held Friday at 23h in the United States.

Of course I will give you the video of the show as soon as possible.

Yesterday took place the final rehearsals in New York for the Essence Festival. Today Janet and the Kids are in Atlanta to continue rehearsals and filming of "For Colored Girls".

Se rendant au travail sur un tout nouveau projet, Janet Jackson était très souriante sur le tournage de "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" filmer sur place à New York dés ce jeudi 3 Juin.

Fiers d'afficher sa nouvelle coiffure courte, Janet a été rejoint par le réalisateur Tyler Perry et co-star Kimberly Elise pour les droits de tournage de la journée.

Getting to work on a brand new project, Janet Jackson was all smiles on the set of "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" filming on location in New York City on Thursday (June 3).

Proudly flaunting her short new hairdo, the 44-year-old was joined by director Tyler Perry and co-star Kimberly Elise for the day's filming duties.

As for the film, which also stars Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington and Anika Noni Rose, a synopsis via IMDB tells that it's a drama based on Ntozake Shange's about existence from the perspective of 20 nameless black females.

Aside from her movie endeavors, Miss Jackson is said to be on cloud nine with her new relationship with 35-year-old millionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana.

An insider close to Janet told InTouch magazine, "He seems to have given her a new lease on life since her brother Michael died. He's younger than Janet, taller than Janet and far richer than Janet. He has become her knight in shining armor. For the first time in Janet's life, she's with a man who pays for everything. He’s filthy rich."

After many compliments from the people and the MTV channel itself, Gil Duldulao confirms the preparation of an exclusive concert for Essence of 32 songs for 32 minutes show. We still do not know the date of this event and the time of sale of tickets.

Sources tell TMZ Janet Jackson was so "blown away" by the positive reaction to her appearance on the "American Idol" finale that she's "seriously entertaining" a concert tour ... that could begin before the end of the year.

Quelques heures avant l'enregistrement de l'interview pour la célèbre émission "The Graham Norton Show", Janet rencontrait ses fans et leur consacrait une séance d'autographes.

For several months a growing rumor speaks of a new relationship for Janet and businessman Wissam Al Mana. The rumor has been confirmed in her last interview for Dean Piper at a diner:

"I'm seeing somebody special and it's great right now. He's making me incredibly happy."

The couple had been sighted several times since the winter of 2009 during the Paris Fashion Week.

The last official date relationship lasted 7 years with producer Jermaine Dupri and ended last summer.

Depuis plusieurs mois une rumeur grandissante parle d'une nouvelle relation amoureuse pour Janet et l'homme d'affaire Wissam Al Mana. Une rumeur qui s'est confirmée dans son dernier interview pour Dean Piper lors d'un diner :

Le couple avait été aperçu à plusieurs reprises depuis l'hiver 2009 lors de la Fashion Week à Paris.

La dernière relation officielle en date a durée 7ans avec le producteur Jermaine Dupri et s'est terminée l'été dernier.

Last week I was invited for dinner with the wonderful Janet Jackson as she flew into London to promote her new Lionsgate movie with Tyler Perry – Why Did I get Married Too?

First thing you realise with Janet is she’s incredibly shy and takes a while to warm up in social situations. But once she’s had a nice fruity cocktail she was on form. Charming, relaxed and very personable. She wants to know what you do, where you come from and what you do for a living. It was pretty much a dream come true to meet her. Here’s what we nattered about….

How are you coping with being the death of your brother Michael?

It’s getting easier to deal with by the day but it has been the hardest few months of my life. Having my family around has gotten me through all of this. I guess working on the film made it easier too. We’ve all become so much closer from losing him. I really do rely on my brothers a lot these days. The kids are doing great now too and that’s a great thing. I’d be lying if I said I was doing OK and I’m back to normal – it’s still is a struggle. The love from his fans all across the world does help things along.

Do you actually manage to have a private life?

I like the fact I mange to keep a lot of my life private from the public eye. Everyone thinks I’m single but I’m not. I’m seeing somebody special and its great right now. They are making me incredibly happy.

And what about working out – you’re in fabulous shape these days.

Getting in the gym doesn’t get easier – and anyone who says they enjoy it is lying. I don’t believe them. I hate working out. I’m in the gym for my next film role right now. It’s called For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Ranbow is Enuf. I can’t do anything like yoga or those bending classes – they don’t agree with me. I need to do cardio and work hard. Being in a gym has never been an enjoyable experience – especially when people are looking at you in photos and talking about what you look like.

And what about the music – juggling all your work must be quite a task?

I hope to tour soon and get back out there with my music. I’m constantly writing and working on new tracks but I don’t know whether I’ll have a new album soon – I’m working on the films right now. So you’ve slimmed down and chopped your hair off. I slimmed down and did the hair for my next film if I’m honest. I like the short hair and it’s not the first time I’ve had it this short. So it’s nothing new for me. I had it like this with Michael when we picked up an award for Scream. So it’s like revisiting an old style.

How do you chill and relax when you’re at home?

I love watching movies and doing normal things at home. I’ve seen Avatar five times and I’m very normal away from the public eye. I can’t wait to see Sex and the City and see what they do with that. I don’t know which girl I’m most like at all. But I hope it’s just as good as the first.

And what have you managed to get up to in London?

I’ve spent the days running around Chelsea and the Kings Road, been out on Bond Street and Sloane Street shopping and I’ve been getting to grips with London. I feel naturally very at home here. So it’s been lovely. I’d love to come back here and tour – I’ve always had such a great reception from people here. I try to go out without being recognised – sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t wear disguises though.

La première chose que vous réalisez avec Janet, c'est qu'elle est incroyablement timide et prend un certain temps avant d'être à l'aise. Mais une fois qu'elle a eu un joli cocktail de fruits, elle est en pleine forme. Charmante, détendue et très belle prestance. Elle veut savoir ce que vous faites, d'où vous venez et ce que vous faites dans la vie. C'était pour moi un rêve de la rencontrer.

Comment vivez-vous la mort de votre frère Michael ?

Il devient plus facile de le vivre à ce jour, mais ces derniers mois étaient les plus durs de toute ma vie. Ma famille était présente pour moi et le film m'a aidé à surmonté tout ça.

Nous sommes tous devenus beaucoup plus proche, après l'avoir perdu. Je compte beaucoup sur mes frères ces temps-ci. Nous en sommes devenus grandis et c'est une bonne chose. Je mentirais si je disais que je vais bien et je que je suis de retour à la normale - c'est toujours une lutte. L'amour de mes fans partout dans le monde m'aide à faire avancer les choses.

Avez-vous effectivement réussi à avoir une vie privée?

J'aime le fait de ménager une grande partie de ma vie privée aux yeux du public. Tout le monde pense que je suis célibataire, mais je ne le suis pas. Je vois quelqu'un de spécial et c'est une bonne chose pour maintenant. Il me rend incroyablement heureuse.

Et que dire de plus - vous êtes dans une forme fabuleuse ces jour-ci.

Aller à la salle de sport n'est pas une chose facile - et quiconque dit qu'il aime ça, ment. Je ne le croirais pas. Je déteste l'entraînement. Je fais beaucoup de sport dès maintenant pour le rôle dans mon prochain film. Il aborde le sujet des femmes de couleur qui ont envisagé de se suicider. Je ne peux pas faire quelque chose comme le yoga ou des flexion - ce n'est pas en accord avec mon corps. J'ai besoin de faire du cardio et du travail acharné.

Être dans un gymnase n'a jamais été une expérience agréable - surtout quand les gens vous regardent sur les photos des magazines et parle de ce que vous ressemblez.

Et que dire de la musique?

J'espère faire une tournée rapidement et de revenir avec de nouveaux titres. Je suis constamment en train d'écrire et de travailler sur de nouveaux morceaux, mais je ne sais pas si je vais faire un nouvel album bientôt - ma priorité reste les films en ce moment.

Donc, vous avez coupés vos cheveux ?

Je suis honnête : j'ai maigri et me suis coupé les cheveux pour mon prochain film. J'aime les cheveux courts et ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai eut cette coiffure. Ce n'est donc pas nouveau pour moi. J'avais cette coiffure avec Michael lorsque nous avons remporté un prix pour Scream. Donc, c'est comme porter un ancien style.

Comment vous détendez-vous lorsque vous êtes à la maison?

J'aime regarder des films et faire des choses normales à la maison. J'ai vu Avatar cinq fois et je suis très loin de la normale aux yeux du public. J'ai hate de voir la suite de Sex and the City. J'espère qu'il sera aussi bon que le premier.

Et qu'avez-vous fait à Londres?

J'ai passé quelques jours près de Chelsea et de Kings Road, sorti sur Bond Street et de Sloane Street pour du shopping, puis je suis aller à Londres. Je suis naturellement très à l'aise ici. Donc c'est agréable. J'aimerais revenir ici pour une tournée - j'ai toujours été très bien accueillit par les gens d'ici. J'essaie de sortir sans être reconnu - parfois cela fonctionne et parfois non. Je ne porte pas bien les déguisements.

Janet was yesterday in New York for a shooting devoted to the magazine Essence. Cover of July to be spent.

Recall that Janet will perform at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 2.

I can tell you that she’s not working on an album. We just did the one song ("Nothing") for the Why Did I Get Married Too soundtrack, which was released off of So So Def. Last time I heard she really didn’t want to do an album. She wanted to just do singles every once in a while. She’s looked at the marketplace—albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is just trying to figure out her landscape. But the crazy part is "Nothing" is the biggest format record that I’ve ever had. It’s playing on seven different formats: gospel, AC, urban AC, urban mainstream, jazz and top 40 and rhythmic. I never had a record on a jazz station. I’m out here in LA and the biggest jazz station out here, The Wave, you know, that station when you go to hotels and you don’t know what station the radio in your room is on? This record is on that station [laughs].

How is Janet holding up?

She’s cool. She has a lot of work going on that’s keeping her in the right direction. The movie came out, which is the biggest Tyler Perry movie he has had thus far. It looks like her star power as an actress is still there. And she’s about to do the other movie (For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf) with Mariah, Kerry Washington, Whoopi Goldberg and few others. They will be shooting that in June. And then she’s performing at the Essence Festival, so she’s rehearsing for that every day.

Comment Janet tiens le coup?

"Love" is an up-tempo track sounding similar to "2nite" (Discipline album). It is sung by DeLisha Thomas, who has already lend her voice to several other demos for Janet.

No information on this demo has yet been unveiled. We do not know if a version has been or will be registered and if a project is behind all this.

Remembered that Janet currently prefers to focus on her acting career and announced not work on any album at this time.

NEW YORK — In the 2007 Tyler Perry film Why Did I Get Married?, Janet Jackson played a woman whose young son was killed in a car accident. Last June, shortly before she began shooting the sequel, Jackson lost her brother Michael just as unexpectedly.

The singer/actress concedes that she drew on "the recent tragedy in my family's life for some scenes" in Why Did I Get Married Too?, opening Friday. But in revisiting the role of Patricia, an accomplished psychologist and self-help author with her own marital problems, the singer/actress tapped into other personal experience as well.

"I've been married twice and divorced twice," Jackson, 43, points out, chatting in a studio in midtown Manhattan. "I know what it feels like to go through that."

Jackson also recorded a new song for Too called Nothing, a ballad in the bittersweet spirit of Again, her Oscar-nominated tune from 1993's Poetic Justice. She co-wrote and co-produced the song with former lover and longtime creative partner Jermaine Dupri.

"We're still very close," Jackson says. "I love Jermaine; he's just a kind soul, and I'm thankful we're friends."

This is the first time she has remained buddies with an ex, she says. "I once stayed friends with someone after dating for a very short time, but that doesn't really count."

Asked whether she is dating someone now, Jackson pauses, then giggles. "Not in particular." The possibility of walking down the aisle a third time is just that, she adds. "Tyler (Perry) says this is a cop-out, but I think if it's God's will for me to marry again, I will. The same with having kids. But the way I see it, I don't need a piece of paper to validate (a relationship); it's more about a spiritual connection."

The single star will have plenty to keep her busy in the months ahead. She will headline New Orleans' Essence Music Festival in July and has a book due in the fall, True You, which addresses her struggles with staying fit.

"I've had issues since I was a child. I wasn't heavy, but people made me feel like I was," she says. As a 10-year-old on the TV series Good Times, "I was told I needed to lose weight. And they'd bind my chest, because I already had breasts. At a young age, I was being told I wasn't good enough. So the book is about self-esteem as well."

Though currently without a recording contract, Jackson has been fielding calls from major labels.

"I read somewhere that I'm not planning to make more albums; that's not true. I love singing and performing too much to give them up. Right now I've got a couple more films I may do, and the festival. Then I'll figure out whether to go with a major or do something more independent."

If she has her druthers, Jackson will squeeze in some time on the beach and relaxing with friends and family. The latter is doing "very well" and is grateful for the condolences of Michael's fans.

"I can't say that time will completely heal things," Jackson says. "But it definitely makes things better."

The site essencemusicfestival.com has added Janet to the list of artists present for the event.She will perform live July 2 next to New Orleans to launch the opening of the Festival of Music Essence. The festival will take place over 3 days, 2 -3 and July 4.

Janet was nominated for an Oscar with more 1 million records sold worldwide.

Janet say on her Twitter acount: "I'll have exciting news tomorrow about Essence."

We still do not know that Janet will perform songs for this event.

When Jackson does return to the studio, she’s not sure whether she’ll work toward a classic pop album (as “Nothing” might indicate) or do something more dance club-oriented (like “Heartbeat Love”): “I haven’t decided on exactly where I want to go or what I want to do.”

This is a beautiful down-tempo allows us to appreciate the gentle tone of Janet on sounds that are reminiscent of the fabulous "Again" released in 1993 on the album "janet.".

Janet will be broadcast Thursday on the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno" for an exclusive interview. This will be his second interview since the death of his brother Michael last summer.

Orianthi is expected to be the musical guest this evening. It was the guitarist for Michael Jackson during rehearsals of "This Is It Tour".

No performance is scheduled for this issue. The main reason for the arrival of Janet on the set of Jay Leno still promoting his upcoming film "Why Did I Get Married Too".

She confirmed on Facebook:

"Hey guys. I'll go on the set of Leno Thursday to talk about Why Did I Get Married Too. It'll be nice to see him again."

Janet had played the role of Justice in the movie "Poetic Justice" produced by John Singleton in 1993. The film was nominated for an Oscar for best original song or music (for Again).

Plot: Justice (Janet Jackson) is a young woman living in South Central, Los Angeles. She was named Justice by her late mother, who gave birth to her while attending law school. After the shooting death of her boyfriend (Q-Tip), the young woman becomes deeply depressed. Shortly thereafter, she meets a Post Office clerk and single father named Lucky (Tupac Shakur), who embarks with her on a trip to Oakland with Iesha and her boyfriend Chicago (played by Regina King and Joe Torry, respectively). In classic Hollywood type, the young woman's heart opens to her suitor's attentions as she finds a new meaning for life.
