Quelques jours pour se reposer à Londres et voici que toute la troupe du NUMBER ONES Tour remets ça au Royal Albert Hall pour le plus grand plaisir des Anglais !

Janet Jackson is set to perform a virtual duet with brother Michael at the Royal Albert Hall in London tonight on "Scream" song.

Recently Janet said:

"It's therapeutic, you know and it makes me smile inside. I mean the energy of the song is fierce but makes it makes me smile inside when I hear him, when I hear his voice."

Jackson said that last time she performed at the venue, she accidentally flashed the Queen.

"I performed 'Rhythm Nation' there, in front of Her Majesty the Queen and on stage I split my pants, or trousers as you'd say! I bent over and I ripped my pants right down the middle, right in the middle of dancing but I had to finish the song. So my booty is hanging out but what can you do, it was so embarrassing."

During her upcoming Number Ones tour, Janet will be meeting, honoring and recognizing 20 young people under the age of 20 for their extraordinary contributions to their local communities.

Janet Jackson has submitted her song "Nothing" from Why Did I Get Married Too? into consideration for possible nomination at the 83rd Academy Awards.

In Janet's words: "I tried to write at least half a verse to each couple from the movie. It was tricky to make it all flow. The film is so heavy and so deep, and hearing the melody flow through strings gives the feeling of being very sad. But lyrically, it's a very hopeful song. It's a classic song about relationships -- about communication, trust, and how you don't know what the future holds. It's about fix this now -- you love one another, don't bicker."

The winning city announced on her Official Website is Hong Kong. This first concert will be the launch of her tour titled "Number Ones" tour (name from her best-of) will take place at the Hong Kong Convention %26amp; Exhibition Centreon February 14th. Tickets will go on sale on 10 am next Tuesday 14th December.

This tour will differ from her previous concert schedules in that she will perform music exclusively from her chart topping CD NUMBER ONES. There will also be a focus on venues that will allow Janet to be up close and personal in a much more intimate setting.

"The fans really reached out and voted for Hong Kong to be the Valentine's Day city of our Number Ones tour. I am thrilled to receive your votes and I will be performing in Hong Kong Feb 14, 2011!"

Janet has also selected the first fan winner of the contest in voting for the cities. The winner will be announced on www.JanetJackson.com and they will receive an autographed copy of NUMBER ONES and an autographed copy of her upcoming book "True You" (on stands February 8th). In each of the 35 cities Janet will dedicate one of her number one songs to the city and she will also recognize 20 young people whose lives and work have enriched their communities in a major way. In a new interview with LA Times, Miss Jackson explains her feelings with the track "Nothing" which she says has no about the death of her brother and is a song that wants positive. She explained the contents of her book dealing with her personal anecdotes and tips on weight loss.

There also learn in this interview that Janet enjoyed her private concert at Music Hall in NYC and the upcoming tour will be worldwide and will go in that direction. Also to be closer to her fans for more intimate concerts.

On the next album she says:

With the release of her book and the upcoming tour, it's hardly surprising that Janet is rather evasive on the subject. It's therefore likely that the album sees the day in 2012.

L'on apprends aussi par cet interview que Janet à beaucoup apprécié son concert privé donné à Music Hall de NYC et que la prochaine tournée sera mondiale et ira dans ce sens. C'est à dire être plus proche de ses fans pour des concerts plus intimes.

Concernant le prochain album elle confie :

"Pas de précipitation, pas de date limite, il suffit de créer, voir ce que je ressens, voir où la musique va. Je veux voir où j'en suis dans ma vie en ce moment."

Avec la sortie de son livre et la tournée à venir, il n'est guère surprenant que Janet reste assez évasive sur le sujet, sans compter qu'il y à fort à parier qu'elle n'ait pas trouvé de contrat avec une maison de disque qui lui convienne. Il est donc fort probable que l'album ne voit le jour qu'en 2012.

L'ambiance et le ton me mettre dans un tel état d'euphorie que je suis tombé amoureuse de ces rythmes. Le jazz m'apporte l'insipiration de tout ce qui est sexy. Le rythme peut être si rythmique. C'est comme me demander de choisir ma nièce préférée (ou neveu). J'ai apprécié chaque rôle. Les personnages sont amusants à apprendre à connaître, et j'ai rencontré tellement de gens incroyables le long de cette route. Chaque fois que je donne vie à un personnage, j'ai tellement de plaisir. De Penny sur "Good Times" à Jo dans "For Colored Girls", j'ai passé de très bons moments.

J'aime la scène avec les fans. Lorsque vous êtes en studio pour l'enregistrement d'un CD ou le tournage d'un film ce n'est pas la même chose... Il ya tellement d'énergie quand vous êtes sur scène et c'est agréable de donner toute cette joie aux fans.

Je chantais à la Radio City de New York et j'ai partagé un si bon moment proche et personnel avec le public, que j'ai décidé de choisir des lieux plus intimes pour cette tournée. Je suis impatiente de voir où les fans vont me demander d'aller. J'ai passé beaucoup de temps en Europe cette année et les fans campaient devant mon hôtel. Chaque fois que je m'en allait, ils me demandaient quand est ce que je pensais aller dans certaines villes. Cela m'a donné l'idée de leur demander de voter sur l'endroit où ils aimeraient me voir partir. La réponse a été incroyable. Des gens m'ont demandé d'aller partout - Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Shanghai, Londres, Sydney ... partout. Ce sera ma plus grande tournée parce que nous avons prévu de visiter tous les continents.

Cela peux changer suivant mon humeur, mais pour le moment, les trois que j'aime le plus sont "Together Again", "Discipline"et "Control".

Ma prière du matin ... J'aime la vie. Chaque jour est une aventure et je ne peux pas attendre pour imaginer de nouvelles choses à faire. Your music inspires people in many ways, but who inspires you and how have they inspired you? (via @scoop_1972)

Growing up, I was inspired by jazz, bossa nova and artists like Sly %26amp; The Family Stone, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. With bossa nova, it is the rhythms. The mood and tone put me in such a euphoric state that I fell in love with it. With jazz, the moodiness of it I found very sexy. The beat can be so rhythmic. I love the drums.

With the ever-changing canvas of pop artists, are there any that you would truly like to work with? (via @DJ3DDP)

There are so many I couldn't possibly name them all, but I really like Bruno Mars.

What has been your favorite acting role to date, and why? (via @LezCity)

That is like asking me to pick my favorite niece or nephew. I have enjoyed each role. The characters are fun to get to know, and I have met so many incredible people along the way. Every time I get to breath life into a character, I have so much fun. From Penny on 'Good Times' to Jo in 'For Colored Girls,' I have had a great time. Acting was always what I thought I would do, so it is nice to get back to it.

Since you have been focused on acting, why have you decided to tour at this time? (via @traymon45)

I love performing for the fans. When you are in the studio recording a CD or filming a movie it's not the same ... There is so much energy when you are on stage and it is nice to give that joy to the fans.

How will this tour be different from the rest, and how will this be your biggest tour ever? (via @raylo85)

I was performing at Radio City in New York and I had such a good time being up close and personal with the audience so I decided to pick more intimate locations for this tour. I am excited to see where the fans will ask for me to go. I have been spending a lot of time in Europe this year and fans were camping outside my hotel. Whenever I would leave, they would ask me when I am going to perform in specific cities. That gave me the idea to ask them to vote on where they would like to see me go. The response has been amazing. People have asked me to go all over -- Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Shanghai, London, Sydney ... everywhere. This will be my largest tour because we are planning on visiting every continent.

What three songs do you like performing the most? (via Merrie Nance)

It can tend to change, but at the moment, the three I really enjoy are 'Together Again,' 'Discipline' and 'Control.'

Do you plan on releasing a DVD of this tour or a TV special for fans who can't afford concert tickets? (via @BtVSnSMGrule)

I am not planning a DVD or [TV] special at this time, but it's a good idea.

Janet, what do you think of releasing a CD with unreleased songs? A nice box set with the best unreleased recordings would be so amazing! (via Achilles Hartsteen)

That is a cool idea. I am working on a box set with Universal Music right now. Maybe we will add some of the songs that people are not as familiar with.

Dear Janet -- when you wake up, what's the one thing you look forward to most? And what keeps you going throughout the day? (via @tharryt)

My morning prayer ... I love life. Every day is an adventure and I can't wait to dream up new things to do. When I was interviewed about being named the newest legend for Blackglama, all I could think of was that I have so much more to do. Having fun with work and of course friends and family keep me energized.

Everyone is talking about how they would love a 'Glee' episode full of your music. How do you feel about that? (via @thatdarrell)

'Glee' is a great show. Everyone that works on it is so talented. I think it would be funny to see Jane Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester, sing 'Control.'

Janet, in recent interviews you mentioned that you are thinking about heading back into the studio to record some new material. What creative mood are you feeling for the new material as of now? (via Matt Walker)

I don't know yet. I just finished writing my book 'True You,' which comes out in February and with finishing 'Why Did I Get Married Too' and 'For Colored Girls,' along with planning the tour, I haven't been able to spend much time on that yet. I am going to wait until I go into the studio. I'll see what I am feeling at that time and be motivated by what is going on.

What is it that inspires you to write a fun song, like 'Black Cat' or 'Escapade'? What do you think about when you write songs like that? (via Marietta Nicole Vaughn)

Do you see yourself in the vein of Tina Turner and touring well into your 60s? (via @Chazz4you)

I don't know. I will have to address that when I get there.

What is the one thing you wish to accomplish but haven't as of yet? (via Gabriel Green)

There is so much, but one thing I will share with you is that I would love to be in a show on Broadway one day. It is a whole different type of discipline and I would like to experience that.

With everything you have going on and different projects, would you ever consider designing your own clothes, or becoming a fashion designer? (via Chatal L'Oreal Carter)

I love fashion and have so many friends in that field that are so talented -- Donatella Versace, Haider Ackermann, Alber Elbaz at Lanvin and Todd Lynn. I have always loved creating my costumes on tour. It would be fun to work on a line of clothing.

What advice would you give the Janet Jackson of the past? What would you do differently? (via @traymon45)

Janet has celebrated Thanksgiving with Kathy Ireland and answered some questions.

Kathy:This year you had two major film successes, Why Did I Get Married Too? And Colored Girls. Why now?

JANET: It’s fun to be here and talk with you guys… acting is my first love. I started when I was ten. When I read both scripts, something inside me said I had to do them. I knew that the schedule would take me out of the recording studio for a minute… LOL! And I was wrong about that, because after finishing Why Did I Get Married Too, I wound up co-writing the theme song for the movie, “Nothing”, with Jermaine Dupri. I’m grateful that people are enjoying it and understanding it. It talks about things that happen to the characters in the film and to relationships that all of us can understand whether we are married or not.

Kathy: What can you tell us about your new relationship?

JANET: The man I am involved with is very private and so I honor that. We are in a special place and I’m not going to tell you anymore than the fact that it is a very good place to be.

Kathy:Janet, he is handsome, gorgeous and we hear you’re engaged. Are you?

JANET:As I said we’re very private… all I’m going to say is NO.

Kathy: Moving on Janet, but you know we want more. You are the only artist that our family has ever rented a bus, to stalk your concert. Why do millions of us love you so much?

JANET: I can’t answer that fully. I hope people have been able to relate to me… to see me be honest to know that my life is in my music, and my body of work is true. There is a part of my soul in everything I’ve done. Honest is important to me, as a woman, as an artist and as a friend.

Kathy: What is your religion?

JANET: I consider myself a Christian. I start each of my days in prayer and that has truly helped my life.

Kathy: How is your family.

JANET: Everyone is fine and I appreciate you asking about my entire family. That means a lot.

Kathy: Janet, you are a fashion icon. Who is your favorite designer?

JANET: I would never choose one. I love so many people in fashion. My friend Donatella Versace, Lanvin’s Creative Director, Alber Elbez, Ralph Lauren and my own stylist Robert Behr. I love fashion, shoes, clothing, jewelry, fur… putting it all together in a way that honors yourself is something I have loved for years.

Kathy: What are you planning for 2011?

JANET: There is so much to do and I am ready to do it all! We start a global tour next year that will celebrate my 35 number one hit records. This will be a little bit different because, it’s the first time I’ve ever done a tour of strictly hit songs. We taking it to every continent in the world and the fans are choosing the cities at JanetJackson.com. I can’t wait to find out where we end up performing. 2011 is also when my first book will be released. It’s called True You and that is the essence of how I’ve learned to live my life. You’ve got be ok with yourself just as you are. I am a work in progress and when I find myself being too critical I have to stop it. I wish when I was growing up, there had been a book available like True You. I hope this book helps people, especially kids to realize that their not alone and that when I read their letters or meet them that my love is sincere and in the time we share there is true carrying going on between us.

LOL! Et je me suis trompé à ce sujet, car après la fin de Why Did I Get Married Too, je me suis retrouvé à co-écrire la chanson thème du film, "Nothing", avec Jermaine Dupri. Je suis heureuse que les gens puissent profiter et le comprendre. Ce film parle de choses qui arrivent aux personnages dans le film et les relations que nous pouvons tous vivre que nous soyons mariés ou non.

Kathy: Que pouvez-vous nous dire sur votre nouvelle relation amoureuse ?

JANET: L'homme avec lequel je me suis engagée est très discret et c'est tout à son honneur. Nous sommes dans un plan relationel spécial et je ne vais pas vous en dire plus, juste que c'est un très bon plan relationel pour s'épanouir.

Kathy: Janet, il est beau, magnifique et nous avons entendons dire que vous vous étiez engagée avec lui. L'êtes-vous?

JANET: Comme je le disais, nous sommes très discrets ... tout ce que je peux vous dire, c'est NON.

Kathy: Avançons Janet, mais nous voulons en savoir plus. Vous êtes la seule artiste dans notre famille où nous avions déjà loué un bus pour vous voir sur scène. Pourquoi des millions d'entre nous vous aimez tant ?

JANET: Je ne peux pas répondre vraiment à cette question. J'espère que les gens ont pu voir... que je suis quelqu'un d'honnête et qu'ils comprennent que ma vie est dans ma musique, et que mon corps de travail est vrai. Il y a une partie de mon âme dans tout ce que j'ai fait. Honnête est un mot important pour moi, en tant que femme, en tant qu'artiste et en tant qu'amie.

Kathy: Quelle est votre religion?

JANET: Je me considère comme un chrétienne. Je commence chacune de mes journées dans la prière, ce qui a vraiment contribué à ma vie.

To begin the promotion of "For Colored Girls", the upcoming film starring Janet, she will be back in New York on Sunday and she scheduled guest of honor with Loretta Devine for an interview on the show "The View" on next October 25.

The show aired on the ABC on the same day at 11:00.

Janet doesn't make wait us in the cold tonight. Very soon her car was parked and thank you god, Janet agreed to give us a little time for some pictures and autographs. A very special moment, especially since we were only 4 fans!

Janet was smiling more than ever and really adorable with us! That moment was truly magnificent and will remain forever in our hearts and our memories. Little giggles for Janet when one of us to ask Joey (her bodyguard) he knew how to use the camera, retorted that he could no longer take pictures!

Janet ne nous aura pas fait attendre dans le froid ce soir. Très tôt sa voiture s'est garée et dieu merci, Janet à accepté de nous accorder un peu de son temps pour quelques photos et autographes. Un moment très privilégié, surtout que nous n'étions que 4 fans !

Janet était plus souriante que jamais et vraiment adorable avec nous ! Ce moment était vraiment grandiose et restera à jamais dans nos coeur et notre mémoire. Petit fou rire pour Janet quand l'un d'entre nous à demander à Joey (son garde du corps) s'il savait se servir de l'appareil photo, lui retorquant qu'il n'en pouvait plus de prendre des photos !

Au final ce moment magique, c'est comme la récompense à tous nos éfforts pour le soutien que l'on apporte à Janet. Et quelle satisfaction de se sentir l'espace de quelques instant en face d'elle. La regarder, l'admirer, lui parler, lui sourire et la serrer dans ses bras... nous alors pouvoir faire de beaux rêves cette nuit !

J'ai vécu ce mardi à 23h30 le plus merveilleux moment de ma vie avec Janet dans mes bras. Serrer sa taille et sentir sa main sur mon épaule était un instant de bonheur indescriptible que je n'oublierais jamais.

Janet était d'une beauté immense et d'une très grande gentillesse. C'était la première fois que je la voyait et sincèrement je ne la pensais pas aussi belle !!! Cette femme est une déesse ! Et c'est ce moment magique qui me donne l'énergie de continuer tout mon travail...

Ne-Yo is planning to recruit Janet Jackson to record music he wrote for her late brother Michael Jackson, insisting it would be "disrespectful" to hand the songs over to an artist outside the musical family.

The King of Pop approached Ne-Yo to write him an album's worth of material shortly before he passed away last summer.Jackson never had the opportunity to record the tracks but Ne-Yo still wants them to be heard by fans and is hoping to give them to the superstar's siblings to sing.

Ne-Yo tells Britain's Daily Star, "I've been trying to figure out what to do with those songs.I can't give them to anybody else because they were written for Michael. That would be disrespectful." So if I could get Janet and the brothers to do a collaborative tribute, that would be a great idea.

There are about 10 he personally selected. He told me, 'I like this one, this one, this one.' I can't just put them out by myself because again they were meant for him but they're really good songs, it's good quality music."

Ne-Yo prévoit de recruter Janet pour enregistrer la musique qu'il écrit pour son frère décédé, affirmant qu'il serait irrespectueux que ce ne soit pas un membre de la famille Jackson qui chante cette chanson.

Peu de temps avant sa mort Michael à demandé à Ne-Yo de lui composer une chanson pour son futur album. Michael n'a jamais eu la possibilité d'enregistrer sa voix sur la piste, mais Ne-Yo veut toujours se faire entendre par les fans et espère en faire don à Janet.

Ne-Yo raconte au journal britannique Daily Star: "J'ai essayé de comprendre quoi faire avec cette chanson.Je ne peux pas la donner à quelqu'un d'autre parce qu'elles ont été écrites pour Michael. Ce serait lui manquer de respect. Donc, si je pouvais obtenir Janet et ses frères en collaboration pour lui faire cet hommage, ce serait une excellente idée.

Il ya environ 10 ans, il l'a personnellement choisi. Il m'a dit, "J'aime cette chanson, celle-ci, pas un autre." Je ne peux pas la chanter moi-même car là encore elle était destinée à lui, mais c'est une bonne chanson vraiment, c'est de la musique de bonne qualité.

Jackson was photographed by Rocco Laspata of Laspata DeCaro, at the Milk Studios in New York. The campaign, which begins in September, will span print, online and outdoor outlets. The ads will appear in Vanity Fair, W, Vogue, T Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, as well as WWD and Style.com, in addition to the international editions of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Blackglama will also mount a Times Square billboard at Broadway and 45th Street in September. The company has increased its marketing spend 40 percent from a year ago, but wouldn’t disclose dollar figures. Blackglama has also expanded its product line, introducing leather bags, eyewear, fragrance and fur accessories, in an effort to make it a less seasonal, more year-round brand.

A behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of the campaign will appear on the Blackglama and Jackson Web sites. Jackson flew to New York for the shoot after performing on the finale of "American Idol," where her performance shot up to number one on iTunes (which she pointed out via Twitter after the fashion shoot).

So did she get to keep the mink?

"Yes, Janet did get to keep the coat," confirmed a Blackglama spokesman, a perk for the legends of the past, who all got to keep the coats they were photographed in.

Janet Jackson’s public and private lives have been inextricably intertwined for her entire existence. Along the way, she managed to step out of the massive shadow cast by her older brothers and build a remarkable career of her own.

Janet Jackson headlines the opening night of the 2010 Essence Music Festival in the Superdome on Friday, July 2.Her most recent CD of new material, 2008’s “Discipline,” was a commercial disappointment; she is currently without a record deal. Yet her iconic status is undiminished, her schedule as jam-packed as ever.

She made a surprise appearance on this year’s “American Idol” finale. She recorded a new single, “Nothing,” for New Orleans-born producer/director Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?,” in which she co-stars.She’s currently shooting “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf,” Perry’s screen adaptation of the 1975 play of the same name. And she has a self-help book, “True You,” coming out this fall.

A year and a week after her brother Michael’s death shocked the world, Jackson will stage her first full concert since 2008. On Friday, July 2 in the Superdome, she closes the opening night of the 2010 Essence Music Festival. Look for a high-energy, highly choreographed show, complete with special-effects illusions.

Jackson arrived in New Orleans on Tuesday; we spoke over the phone that evening. Between bites of melon (“can you hear me chewing?”), she was soft-spoken, pleasant and occasionally playful. A publicist monitored the call to insure no forbidden subject — her family in general and Michael in particular — was broached.

Any bad memories from her 2004 Super Bowl halftime show “wardrobe malfunction” with Justin Timberlake did not prevent her from watching the Saints beat the Colts this year. “You guys deserved it,” she said of the Saints’ victory. “Very well done.”

To prepare for tonight’s show, Jackson has trained throughout the “Colored Girls” shoot. “We’ve been really sweating,” she said, “for about five weeks.”

TP: So what is your regimen to get back in performing shape?

JJ: Running. Run, run, run. You run every day. Even on days when you’re dancing, you run. Unless your schedule just does not permit it and your workload is too heavy and you have stuff to do for the tour that needs to get done and takes priority.

Has running always been your preferred form of exercise?

My preferred form of exercise is no exercise. (laughs). You know what I love? I love sports. That’s my thing. I love to play games. So if it’s tag football or going to the batting cages or getting a game of softball going…that’s what I prefer. But you can’t always do that with your schedule, so you’ve got to go to the gym.

And I have such a wonderful trainer, Tony Martinez, that he makes it fun for everybody. All the dancers and myself get together and we’ll train while we’re in rehearsals. I’ll run before we start dancing, then we’ll lift while we’re dancing, and he gives them stuff to get their heart rate up.

You sound like you need a specific goal, like a show, to get serious about exercising again.

Not really. It’s really on me. Whether I really want to or not is where it begins and ends.

So why are you performing at Essence?

They’ve been asking me for a very long time. My schedule never permitted it. It actually didn’t permit it this time. But I wanted to do it and figured out a way to do it. And I thought it would be fun.

I’m shooting a film and on my days off from filming, I’m at rehearsals. It’s been 7 days a week for over a month for me. I haven’t had any days off since May. It’s been a lot of hard work, a lot of long hours, sometimes from 12 in the afternoon until 1 or 1:30 in the morning. We’re getting it done, though.

You auditioned dancers way back in April.

I had to, because once I started filming, I did not want to have to deal with anything relating to the show, only on my days off. (So) there were certain things I needed to get out of the way.

We auditioned dancers in New York, because we started filming for “Colored Girls” in New York. Then filming (moved to) Atlanta, so I had to take everybody, the band and all the dancers, and fly them to Atlanta, and we set up shop there for rehearsals.

Tyler Perry has attended Essence many times.

He says he’s going to be there front row center (for Jackson’s show). I said, “Tyler, front row center?” He said, “OK, four rows back, center.”

He accommodated your schedule so you could perform.

Which I’m very appreciative of. And what makes (Essence) special for me, too, is the fact that it’s in New Orleans, with all the devastation in recent years. With the oil spill and Katrina, it’s nice to try to bring some joy and a little bit of positive light and energy to the city.

You haven’t been here since the storm?

No I haven’t.

Will your Essence show be similar to what you did on your Rock Witchu tour in 2008?

It is going to be similar. The Rock Witchu (show) was two hours and 15 minutes. They wanted me to do 45 minutes or an hour (at Essence). I actually asked if I could do an hour and a half. And they said sure. I guess they thought maybe I wasn’t up to it, or didn’t want to. But we were happy to.

It’s pretty much the same set. I’m also doing the new single, “Nothing.”

Will you pull a guy from the audience at any point?

Are you kidding me? I’m gonna pull you! But I don’t know what you look like.

I’ll be right next to Tyler Perry.

(laughs) On his left or on his right? I definitely will pull someone from the audience. That’s my favorite part. It’s fun for me.

Will you do any sort of tribute to your brother Michael in the show?

I’m assuming you mean by doing a set of his songs or… No. It’s still hard for me.

So overall, the show will have a similar pacing and energy to the Rock Witchu tour?

Very up, up, up.

When you revisit your catalog, what material still feels as powerful now as when you recorded it?

All of it, actually. I’ve been very fortunate that people have told me that it’s timeless. It’s so many things. It’s all still very powerful for me.

I guess it’s different when you write it, when it’s something from you, from your heart, from your soul. So all of it, especially the stuff I wrote.

I didn’t write anything on the “Discipline” album, so that’s what I’m getting at. I’m not excluding that body of work at all, but just bringing more focus to the things I’ve (written). I’ve written them, so it’s closer to my heart.

Your musical arrangements don’t sound dated, even going back 20 years.

And it rings true when you see other artists sampling your music. There’s something to be said for that.

Have you started writing for your next project?

I’m not recording an album. All the majors (record labels) have called and they want to talk. I haven’t decided if I want to take that route and be with a label, or if I want to do something independent.For that reason, I want to take some time and really think about it. That’s why I’m not making an album at the moment. If it’s a single here or a single there, like I did for “Why Did I Get Married Too?” with “Nothing”… I’m enjoying that, and being able to have my acting career, for right now.

What is the message of your forthcoming book, “True You”?

It’s about self-esteem. It’s about weight loss, weight gain. It’s about nutrition. It won’t just appeal to adults, but also kids as well as teens.I start it in my childhood. It’s not an autobiography but there are anecdotes from throughout my entire life, from when I was a kid until now, to help people understand why things happened the way they did for me with my weight loss, my weight gain, what brought about certain self-esteem issues I had.I wanted there to be something for kids to read and understand. If they had similar experiences, something they could relate to.

It’s not an autobiography, but will still be deeply personal.

It is. It definitely is.

Enfin elle à pour projet la sortie d'un livre auto-biographique "True You", qui sortira cet automne.

Un an et une semaine après la mort de son frère Michael qui a choqué le monde entier, Janet mettra en scène son premier concert complet depuis 2008. Le vendredi 2 Juillet dans le Superdome, elle ouvre la soirée d'ouverture du Festival Essence Music de 2010. D'une grande énergie, avec un spectacle très chorégraphié, des illusions d'effets spéciaux. Janet est arrivé à la Nouvelle-Orléans ce mardi; nous avons parlé au téléphone ce soir-là. Entre deux bouchées de melon ("Pouvez-vous m'entendre à mâcher?"), Elle a la voix douce, agréable et parfois ludique. Un publiciste suivi l'appel à assurer qu'aucun sujet tabou - sur sa famille en général, et Michael en particulier - a été abordé.

"Nous avons vraiment été en transpiration, pendant environ cinq semaines", dit elle.

TP: Alors, quel est votre régime pour obtenir cette en forme lors du spectacle?

JJ: Courir, vous courrez, vous courrez, vous courrez, ... Vous courrez tous les jours. Même les jours où vous dansez, vous courrez. Sauf si votre emploi du temps ne vous le permet pas ou que votre charge de travail est trop lourde.

Quel a toujours été votre exercice préféré?

Ma forme préférée de l'exercice n'est pas un exercice. (Rires).
Vous savez ce que j'aime? J'aime les sports. C'est mon truc. J'aime jouer à des jeux. Donc, sois c'est le football, du handball ou les jeux vidéos ... c'est ce que je préfère. Mais vous ne pouvez pas toujours faire cela avec votre emploi du temps, alors vous devez aller à la gym. Et j'ai un merveilleux entraîneur, Tony Martinez, qu'il sait rendre le sport amusant pour tout le monde. Tous les danseurs et moi-même se réunissons et de nous en faisons pendant que nous sommes en répétitions. Je vais courir avant de commencer à danser.

On dirait que vous avez besoin d'un but spécifique, comme un spectacle, redevenir sérieux à refaire de l'exercice.

Pas vraiment. C'est vraiment un travail sur moi-même. Savoir ce que je veux vraiment ou non et où est je commence et termine.

Alors, pourquoi êtes-vous de la scène à l'essence?

Ils me demandaient beaucoup de temps, du temps que mon emploi du temps ne pouvait pas accepter. Mais je voulais le faire et trouvé un moyen de le faire. Et j'ai pensé que ce serait amusant. Je suis sur le tournage d'un film et lors de mes jours de congé, je suis en répétitions. Je bosse donc 7 jours par semaine depuis plus d'un mois. Je n'ai pas eu de jours de congé depuis mai. Il y a beaucoup de travail acharné, beaucoup de longues heures, parfois de midi jusqu'à 1h ou 1h30 du matin. Mais nous le faisons.

Vous avez auditionné les danseurs en avril.

Oui, car une fois que j'ai commencé mon travail sur le tournage de "For Colored Girls...", je ne voulais pas avoir à faire face à tout ce qui concerne le spectacle, uniquement sur mes jours de congé. Il y avait certaines choses dont j'avais besoin pour sortir de mon quotidien.

Nous avons auditionné les danseurs à New York, car nous avons commencé le tournage du film à New York. Puis le tournage à été transféré à Atlanta, alors j'ai dû prendre tout le monde, le groupe et tous les danseurs, et les emenner à Atlanta, et nous avons mis en place des magasins pour les répétitions.

Tyler Perry a assisté à la préparation de votre show pour Essence à plusieurs reprises.

Il dit qu'il va être là, au centre de première ligne. Je lui ai dit, "Tyler, au centre de la première ligne?" Il a dit: "OK, quatre rangées arrière, au centre."

Il à arranger votre emploi du temps afin que vous puissiez faire le show.

Oui et je lui en suis très reconnaissante. Et ce qui rend ce show très spécial pour moi aussi, est le fait que c'est à la Nouvelle Orléans, avec tous les dégâts au cours des dernières années. Avec le déversement de pétrole et de Katrina, il est bon d'essayer de mettre un peu de joie et un peu de lumière et d'énergie positive dans cette ville.

Vous n'avez pas été là depuis la tempête?

Non, pas depuis.

Est-ce que votre spectacle Essence va être semblable à ce que vous avez fait sur votre "Rock Witchu Tour" en 2008?

Il va être similaire. Le "Rock Witchu Tour"durait deux heures et 15 minutes. Ils voulaient que je fasse 45 minutes ou une heure (à essence). J'ai effectivement demandé si je pouvais faire une heure et demie. Et ils ont dit "Oui, bien sûr". Je crois qu'ils pensaient peut-être que je n'étais pas à la hauteur, ou que je ne le voulait pas. Mais nous étions heureux de cette nouvelle.

Ce sera à peu près la même chose. Je chanterais aussi mon nouveau single, "Nothing".

Est-ce que vous tirez un gars du public à n'importe quel moment?

Êtes-vous moquez de moi? Je vais vous tirez! Mais je ne sais pas à quoi vous ressemblez.

Je serai juste à côté de Tyler Perry.

(Rires) A sa gauche ou sur sa droite? Je doute que quelqu'un sera tirer de l'auditoire. C'est ma partie préférée. C'est amusant pour moi.

Voulez-vous faire une sorte d'hommage à votre frère Michael dans ce show?

Non, c'est encore dur pour moi.

Donc dans l'ensemble, le spectacle aura un rythme similaire et lénergie du Rock Witchu Tour?

Oui très, très, très.

Lorsque vous revenez sur votre répertoire, quel titre est toujours aussi puissant aujourd'hui que lors de son enregistrement?

Tous, en fait. J'ai eu beaucoup de chance puisque les gens m'ont dit que c'est intemporel. Il ya tellement de choses. Il s'agit toujours de titres très puissant pour moi. Je suppose que c'est différent quand vous l'écrivez, quand c'est quelque chose qui émane de vous, de votre cœur, de votre âme. Donc tout les titres, surtout ceux que j'ai écrit. Je n'ai rien écrit sur l'album "Discipline", c'est là où je veux en venir. Je ne suis pas contre du tout cette façon de travailler, mais le simple fait d'écrire ses propres chansons, les rends plus proches de votre coeur.

Votre titres n'ont pas pris une ride, même en plus de 20 ans.

Et ils sonnent vrai quand vous voyez certains morceaux d'autres artistes. Il ya quelque chose à conclure de cela.

Avez-vous commencé à écrire pour votre prochain album?

Je ne suis pas en train d'enregistrer un nouvel album. Toutes les majors (maisons de disques) ont appelé et ils veulent en parler. Je ne me suis pas encore décidé si je veux prendre cette route et d'être avec une étiquette, ou si je veux faire quelque chose d'indépendant. Pour cette raison, je veux prendre un certain temps et vraiment y réfléchir. C'est pourquoi je ne fais pas d'album pour le moment. Ou seulement un titre par ici et par là, comme j'ai fait pour "Why Did I Get Married Too" avec "Nothing" ... Je profite du moment, et de cette capacité de pouvoir développer ma carrière d'actrice.

Quel est le message de votre prochain livre, "True You"?

Il s'agit de l'estime de soi. Il s'agit de la perte et gain de poids. C'est sur la nutrition. Il ne sera pas seulement appel à des adultes, mais aussi les enfants ainsi que les adolescents. Je l'ai commencer dans mon enfance. Ce n'est pas une autobiographie, mais il ya des anecdotes de toute ma vie, à partir de quand j'étais un enfant, jusqu'à présent, pour aider les gens à comprendre pourquoi les choses se passaient de cette manière pour moi lors de ma perte de poids, mon gain de poids, ce qui a provoqué certaines questions chez moi sur moi-même. Je voulais qu'il y ait quelque chose pour les enfants à lire et à comprendre. S'ils avaient des expériences similaires, quelque chose qu'ils pourraient concerner.

Ce n'est pas une autobiographie, mais ce sera toujours profondément personnel.

How to watch the Essence show? Many of you have asked me.

Unfortunately there will be no streaming link but the concert will be filmed by Channel One for a U.S. TV broadcast later. The concert will be held Friday at 23h in the United States.

Of course I will give you the video of the show as soon as possible.

Yesterday Janet resumed rehearsals in Atlanta with Gil Duldulao and Kids. Then she went to the anniversary of Sohey, a new Kids in a bowling alley.

Adam Rodriguez is very excited to announce his participation to a photoshoots for Essence magazine:

"Here's a scoop for everybody, I did a photo shoot with Janet Jackson not too long ago for Essence. I think that will be out in August. I don't know what it's for though! They called me and I thought it would be good. Janet's cool! "

Yesterday took place the final rehearsals in New York for the Essence Festival. Today Janet and the Kids are in Atlanta to continue rehearsals and filming of "For Colored Girls".

Se rendant au travail sur un tout nouveau projet, Janet Jackson était très souriante sur le tournage de "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" filmer sur place à New York dés ce jeudi 3 Juin.

Fiers d'afficher sa nouvelle coiffure courte, Janet a été rejoint par le réalisateur Tyler Perry et co-star Kimberly Elise pour les droits de tournage de la journée.

Quant au film, qui met également en vedette Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington et Anika Noni Rose, un résumé via IMDB dit que c'est un drame basé sur Ntozake Shange au sujet de l'existence du point de vue de 20 femmes noires sans nom.

Outre ses projets de cinéma, Miss Jackson dit être au septième ciel avec sa nouvelle relation, un homme d'affaires millionnaire Wissam Al Mana âgé de 35-ans.

Une proche de Janet a confié au magazine InTouch: "Il semble avoir donné un nouveau souffle depuis que son frère Michael est mort. Il est plus jeune que Janet, plus grand que Janet et beaucoup plus riche que Janet. Il est devenu son chevalier en armure étincelante. Pour la première fois dans sa vie, elle est avec un homme qui paie pour tout. Il est extrêmement riche ".

Getting to work on a brand new project, Janet Jackson was all smiles on the set of "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" filming on location in New York City on Thursday (June 3).

Proudly flaunting her short new hairdo, the 44-year-old was joined by director Tyler Perry and co-star Kimberly Elise for the day's filming duties.

As for the film, which also stars Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington and Anika Noni Rose, a synopsis via IMDB tells that it's a drama based on Ntozake Shange's about existence from the perspective of 20 nameless black females.

Aside from her movie endeavors, Miss Jackson is said to be on cloud nine with her new relationship with 35-year-old millionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana.

An insider close to Janet told InTouch magazine, "He seems to have given her a new lease on life since her brother Michael died. He's younger than Janet, taller than Janet and far richer than Janet. He has become her knight in shining armor. For the first time in Janet's life, she's with a man who pays for everything. He’s filthy rich."
