Controversy about the Janet's campaign for Blackglama

The new advertising campaign for Blackglama, very famous company fur high quality could not let the PETA association indifferent.


Amanda Schinke spokesman for Peta said: "It's amazing what celebrities will do when their careers are on a downslide, but we didn't think that Janet was this desperate."Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognise that both occur in the production of a fur coat. We are asking her to think again and to donate these stolen skins to be used as bedding for animals orphaned by other human-caused disasters, such as loss of habitat."


Many fans say they are disappointed that the american icon lends her image to Blackglama.

Have they measured the importance of strategic Marqueting encompassing the whole campaign? The ads will run in Vanity Fair, W, Vogue, T Magazine and Harper's Bazaar, and WWD and Style.com, in addition to the international editions of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Blackglama also fund a billboard in Times Square at Broadway and 45th Street in September.
